How to travel to Charlevoix G7 Summit

Do you plan to travel in the Charlevoix, Saguenay or Quebec City area or during the Charlevoix G7 Summit?

Here is some information for our members who plan to share a ride in this region during June 7 - 8, 2018.

Rideshare Montreal - Quebec or ride with departure from Quebec to Saguenay or to Montreal.

Many participants such as journalists will be hosted in the Quebec City region. As manifestations are also planned around the Parliament, we suggest that drivers allow a little more time on their schedule as traffic jams may occur around downtown Quebec City. It is never nice to have to wait for a driver at the meeting point because he is caught in a traffic jam. Find out about the obstacles to traffic on Quebec 511.

Rideshare Quebec - Charlevoix

The Ministry of Transport, Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Electrification has published on its website that Highway 362 will be closed to traffic between Saint-Irénée and La Malbaie from June 4 at 7:00 am to June 10 at 7:00 pm. A detour path via the municipal network will be set up. Checks on the whereabouts will also be made on the same road between Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie.
Think about it before travelling into this area to avoid unpleasant surprises. More details are available on the Transport Québec website.
